CHARLOTTE, NC--(Marketwired - Mar 10, 2014) - One of the nation's leading independently owned marketing organizations, Financial Independence Group, Inc. (www.figmarketing.com), has launched the first electronic iPad app for purchasing annuities.
The pioneering app streamlines the annuity-purchase application process for financial professionals and ensures the forms they file are complete and accurate, said Brian Williams, COO of Financial Independence Group (FIG.)
"Our goal is to continually provide superior products and services to our 10,000 members so they can be successful and serve their clients as effectively as possible," Williams said. "We anticipate and provide what they need to meet the changing demands of the market."
The Life Insurance Sales Application (LISA) iPad app, developed in conjunction with Insurance Insight Group, a solutions provider, has built-in safeguards that prevent annuities applications being filed with missing forms and information. That has been a consistent problem that results in delays, Williams said. The app also allows the applicant's signature to be transmitted electronically.
"Since we launched Feb. 12, LISA has been available only to our members, and they're raving about it," he said. "Dozens have already downloaded it, and more are every day."
Williams said FIG, which serves independent and general insurance agents and brokers nationwide, hopes to eventually release the app to other organizations.
"We're always striving to improve the industry as a whole, and this tool will benefit both financial professionals and their clients," he said.
American Equity Investment Life Holding Co. has made its products available through LISA and two other insurance companies are in the process of adding their products.
