Finding a Person in Metro Vancouver Just Got Easier

The new One Lower Mainland residential directory is hitting the streets

BURNABY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 23, 2008) - Yellow Pages Group (YPG) (TSX:YLO.UN), the official publisher of TELUS' directories, is pleased to announce the distribution of the new July 2008 One Lower Mainland residential directory. This is the premier edition of the all-in-one directory which incorporates all five previous residential directories (North & West Vancouver, Vancouver, Richmond/Delta, Coquitlam/Maple Ridge/New Westminster/Pitt Meadows/Port Coquitlam/Port Moody, and Langley/Surrey/White Rock). The new book is solely devoted to finding residential information across Metro Vancouver, making it easier to find a person.

"By uniting the Lower Mainland residential listings into one complete residential directory, we are responding to what consumers have been requesting," said Paul Batchelor, Vice President, Sales, British Columbia of Yellow Pages Group. "We are also announcing that in an effort to be more environmentally responsible, YPG will now distribute the residential directory every two years instead of every year."

The next One Lower Mainland residential directory will be issued in July 2010. For those who wish to receive a free 2009 edition, it will be available in print or CD-ROM format upon request by calling 1-877-909-9356 (YELO) or by mailing in the business reply card which can be found in the 2008 directory.

Looking for a business or government listing?

The Lower Mainland business alphabetical listings and government section will move from the residential directories into the new editions of the Lower Mainland Yellow Pages™ directories.

"By combining the alphabetical business listings with the business ads in the Yellow Pages™ directory, we better facilitate searches. Now we have one directory devoted to finding people and one for all business and government information," said Batchelor.

Consult your Yellow Pages™ directory to obtain the complete Lower Mainland business alphabetical and government listings as of June 2008 in North & West Vancouver, followed in August with Richmond and Burnaby/New Westminster. Coquitlam and Surrey/Langley will appear in November and Vancouver in February 2009.

Don't forget to recycle!

YPG reminds Vancouver citizens of the importance of recycling their old directories once their new ones land on their doorstep. Yellow Pages™ directories are completely recyclable, and the outdated edition can be placed with other mixed paper as part of the municipal recycling pickup.
