Fine Dining Restaurant, PINXO Offers an Abundance of Culinary Options

Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel Restaurant Sure to Impress

PARIS--(Marketwire - Jun 25, 2012) -  Creating a pleasurable dining experience through the use of innovative techniques and natural ingredients, a fun and inviting Paris restaurant is bringing new meaning to fine dining in Paris, France as chefs welcome guests to share their portions and enjoy the cordial atmosphere.

Operating under the vision of Chef Alain Dutournier and managed by Chef Fabrice Dubos, there are no rules at The PINXO Restaurant located inside the Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel, as guests are actually encouraged to share and exchange courses according to their appetite and desire for a fresh culinary experience.

"The philosophy is the sharing spirit," said Chef Dubos, in explaining the restaurant's open atmosphere and real-time open kitchen experience. "The guest can have the choice. Dishes are divided into three -- two for one person and one to be shared."

Both chefs at this luxury hotel in downtown Paris hail from the South West of France, and Chef Dutournier utilizes many recipes reflecting that region as well as local products and ingredients such as foie gras from Landes, fish and beef from Chalosse. In addition, Chef Dutournier, a two-star Michelin Chef for 25 years, relies heavily on his imagination and instinct to create entrées that highlight the individual savors of the main ingredient, rather than transform them. While Chef Dutournier attained a two-star status at the nearby Carré des Feuillants and one star at Le Trou Gascon, he has no aspirations for collecting Michelin Star status for The PINXO as it is his desire for guests to enjoy a panel of choice in terms of style and budget.

Chef Dubos, who has been with The PINXO since 2003 shares many of the same ideals as Chef Dutournier and together they have been able to create tantalizing menus and a unique atmosphere that creates exceptional fine dining in Paris.

Interior design of this Paris luxury suite hotel restaurant was under the direction of Pierre-Yves Rochon and Alberto Bali and boldly displays modern black and white colors for a zen calm and relaxing atmosphere. Red highlights are reminiscent of the South West of France and the paintings are from Pierre Courtin.

The PINXO has introduced a new lunch menu which includes a starter, one main course, a glass of wine or mineral water and coffee with sweet petit-fours for just EUR 29 per person. A la carte is also available at a cost of approximately EUR 60 per person, beverages included. The restaurant is open daily from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. and 7:00 to 10:30 p.m. (On Saturday: dinner only. Weekly closure: Sunday. Annual closure: August).
