Finjan and F-Secure Sign License Agreement

Agreement Expected to Lead to Improved Cybersecurity Solutions


PALO ALTO, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 9, 2015) - Finjan Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: FNJN), a cybersecurity licensing company, and F-Secure Corporation today announced that the companies have reached a mutually agreed patent license. The license also includes an agreement on an exchange of technology that will allow the companies to develop new cybersecurity applications. In exchange for a license from Finjan to F-Secure, Finjan will receive both cash and assignment of two F-Secure patents.

"This is a significant milestone in Finjan's licensing program as it is our first patent license granted to an international licensee. Importantly, this mutual agreement affords our respective companies a clear path to developing more robust cybersecurity solutions to effectively combat new cyber attacks," according to Ivan Chaperot, Finjan's VP, IP Licensing.
