Finning Announces New Organizational Structure for Its UK Operations

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 7, 2006) - Finning International Inc. ("Finning") (TSX:FTT) announces that it is implementing a new organizational structure for its UK operations. Effective November 1, 2006, Finning Group, UK will be organized along four core lines of business; Heavy Construction, General Construction, Power Systems and Hewden.

"This customer focused organizational structure represents an important step in improving the performance of our operations in the U.K.", said Doug Whitehead, President and CEO of Finning International Inc. "It will enable us to develop stronger relationships with customers in our core areas of business in the U.K. and deliver enhanced customer support in a more efficient manner."

"The new organizational structure will accelerate our ability to leverage synergies across our business units and deliver superior customer solutions in all our key markets", added Andy Fraser, Managing Director, Finning Group, UK.

The four business units will, over time, be supported by a single back office operation that will provide centralized head office services, allowing further synergies among the business units.

Doug Sprout has been appointed Finance Director, Finning Group, UK. Doug will be responsible for finance and procurement as well as for business processes and systems.

Neil Dickinson has been appointed Director, Heavy Construction with responsibility for providing products and services relating to Caterpillar heavy construction equipment.

Neal Walker has been appointed General Manager, General Construction with responsibility for establishing a strong general construction channel centered around CAT's small and medium-sized construction equipment.

David Oates has been appointed Director, Power Systems with responsibility for Finning's UK Caterpillar power systems business.

Brian Sherlock has been appointed Director, Hewden Stuart Plc. Brian's responsibilities for this significant business channel will focus on strategies to increase our market share in the rental market.
