FinTech Innovation Outlook for 2010 Is Promising; Bradway Research Picks Three "Best Bets" to Impact US Banking Industry

FRAMINGHAM, MA--(Marketwire - October 14, 2009) - Bradway Research LLC has selected three financial technology vendors out of 31 that presented recently at Finovate 2009 in New York City. In its latest report, "FinTech Innovation Outlook & Finovate 2009 Best Bets," the three vendor solutions that stand out as high potential commercial success stories are analyzed. Significant factors in the analysis included each vendor's business model, its projected success in acquiring customers, and the solution's capacity for generating revenue. The three winners are: Bling Nation, Silver Tail Systems, and Yodlee.

According to Bill Bradway, founder and managing director of Bradway Research, "All three vendors demonstrated the capacity to generate revenue from a unique and appealing solution capability." Bradway continued, "Each of the vendors is focused on a new, innovative solution that meets a compelling business requirement that will benefit US financial institutions. The future upside for each vendor will depend on the execution of their business plan."

The primary source of revenue for two of the vendors is software license and maintenance fees. The other vendor relies on revenues that are tied to fee-based transaction volumes that are generated from the implementation of its solutions.

Bradway Research LLC focuses on the attributes that make a difference in the performance of banks, thrifts and credit unions. Two key study areas that Bradway Research analyzes are the business strategies pursued by these institutions and the impact strategic technology solutions have on an institution's objectives.
