Firefighters Answer Kids' Questions in New Why Guy DVD

WEST LINN, OR--(Marketwire - July 15, 2008) - The siren sounds and a fire engine speeds past, bringing with it endless questions from young children -- "Where are they going?"; "Why do they wear all that gear?"; and "Do they live at the fire station?" In the new DVD from Why Guy Productions, the Why Guy tours a fire station and questions a firefighter to get some answers.

"Why Guy Questions A Firefighter" explores the world of firefighting in a way that will entertain and inform preschool age children. The video includes footage of firefighters in action mixed with an informative tour of a fire station, the pumper truck and ladder truck.

Throughout this video children are also introduced to fire safety concepts including "Stop, Drop and Roll" and "Crawl Low and Go" to help educate them on what to do in case they ever encounter a fire. Each DVD also comes packed with a fire safety quiz for children to discuss with their parents, to learn the most important facts about fire safety.

The Why Guy DVD features an interactive bonus section which teaches children how to draw a fire engine. It takes kids step-by-step from a blank page to a fully colored drawing of a fire pumper.

"Why Guy Questions A Firefighter" can be ordered online at www.WhyGuy.com or on Amazon.com. At the WhyGuy.com website, children can also enjoy activities including a matching game and download activity sheets. There's also a section for teachers that offers suggestions for integrating fire safety into their classroom curriculum.
