Stefano Malnati Brings Extensive Product Management and Software Development Experience to New Role

ST. PETERSBURG, FL--(Marketwire - Feb 19, 2013) -  First Advantage, the leading global provider of comprehensive talent acquisition solutions, today announced that Stefano Malnati, a software development expert with two decades of experience, has been appointed as the company's new CTO. In this role, Malnati will leverage his extensive background in managing the development of web-based enterprise applications to drive continuous innovation and improvement of First Advantage's technology solutions.

Prior to joining First Advantage, Malnati served as senior vice president of Engineering for Vendavo, where he was responsible for leading the development of the company's price management and optimization software platform and solutions. He previously worked for HireRight, driving the expansion of its SaaS employment screening solutions as senior vice president of Engineering. Earlier in his career, Malnati held executive-level positions with several software development companies, including ImpactXoft, TIBCO Software and Centric Software, working in collaborative development environments to create various business applications and software solutions for each organization.

Malnati joins First Advantage during a time of significant growth and expansion. The company has recently entered into an agreement to acquire the employee and resident screening business of LexisNexis Risk Solutions, making it the global leader in talent acquisition solutions. "First Advantage is an industry leader in delivering software products that help businesses around the globe improve their talent acquisition processes across the entire employment continuum," said Malnati.
