First Annual Women's Legacy Summit to Attract Top Female Executives From Southeast

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - Aug 21, 2012) - Executive Alliance, Inc., creator and provider of a national network of programs for senior executives, announced today the Women's Legacy Summit to be held Sunday, September 9 and Monday, September 10, 2012, at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, located outside of Atlanta.

With an outstanding group of executive women attending from across Georgia and portions of the southeast, the Summit will provide the right environment for attendees to engage in discussions on topics including leadership for the future, creating innovative environments, the impact of social media and mobility, the look of the customer and employee of the future, driving top and bottom line impacts, and inspiring the next generation of talent.

The keynote speaker is Robin Bienfait, Chief Information Officer of Research in Motion (Blackberry) who will be speaking on the challenges of leadership in times of great change. In addition to Ms. Bienfait, speakers include Kimberley Kennedy, Summit Emcee and Emmy Award Winning Journalist, Terri Badour, the CEO of the American Red Cross of Georgia, Katherine Fifthen of The Coca-Cola Company, Marie Mouchet of Southern Company Operations and Southern Nuclear, Alison Mills-Long of BB&T Corp., and Sheryl Fikse of Southwire.

"The Women's Legacy Summit will provide a compelling, content-rich forum where senior executives in the private and public sectors can collaborate on business issues. The agenda deals head-on with the impact of economic conditions to the most pressing national trends affecting women in leadership roles," said Mary Lou Heastings, CEO of Executive Alliance.

The Women's Legacy Summit is proud to support the Tiffany Circle, a society of women leaders and philanthropists who invest annually in their local American Red Cross chapters, of which Ms. Heastings is a member. "I am a member of the American Red Cross Tiffany Circle for one reason: it's a donation that has an amazing ROI," states Carol Tome, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President, Corporate Services of The Home Depot. "In my work, I've personally seen customers walk into our stores after a natural disaster with no idea how to move forward. The fact that the Red Cross is usually set up in our parking lots means that people can get the help and advice they need quickly and compassionately. Because I've seen the work the Red Cross does with The Home Depot, I decided that I had to personally support them as well."
