First Electronic Design Education Conference (IEDEC) Announces Program, Focuses on Critical Education Issues Related to Engineering Education

Free Conference Is Set for Wednesday, March 16th at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Santa Clara


SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - March 8, 2011) - The International Electronic Design Education Conference (IEDEC) today announced its program consisting of eight talks by industry and academia highlighting critical issues related to electronic design education. The free conference is for educators, mentors, engineers, managers, engineering students, and electronic and semiconductor industry stakeholders. IEDEC is collocated with the 12th annual International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ISQED), and will be held on Wednesday, March 16th, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Santa Clara.

The goal of IEDEC is to promote quality electronic design engineering and to highlight the important role of electronic design in all aspects of human life. The conference provides a forum for sharing ideas; learning about developments in electronic design education; and interacting with professionals, experts, and colleagues in the field.
