First Liberty Power Corp. Reports Positive Results From Second Gravity Survey on Lida Valley, Nevada Lithium Project

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - September 27, 2010) -  First Liberty Power Corp. ("the Company") (OTCBB: FLPC) is pleased to report that it has received results from a second gravity survey recently completed by Hasbrouck Geophysics on the Company's Lida Valley Lithium Project in Esmeralda County Nevada. First Liberty Powers Lida Valley Lithium Project represents a 12,800 acre claim block and is within 15 miles of Montezuma peak, considered to be involved in the origin of the Lithium deposits in south-central Nevada.

The objective of the second gravity survey was to determine if the bedrock depth and elevation lows in Lida Valley, Nevada, modeled from recently acquired gravity data discussed in Hasbrouck Geophysics, Inc.'s June 5, 2010 report extend further to the south The second phase of the gravity survey completed on the southern region of Lida Valley indicates Lida Valley is a closed basin. The gravity survey has now delineated a basin structure that has favourable geological features that may contain lithium enriched brines.

Glyn Garner, First Liberty Power Corp. President and CEO, commented, "These results are certainly encouraging, we are now in the planning stages of for the next phase of our exploration plan, specifically it has been recommended that controlled-source audio-magnetotellurics / magnetotellurics (CSAMT/MT) surveys be run to determine if conductive zones, possibly indicative of lithium-bearing brines, are present and continuous. We hope to announce a commencement date for this soon."

The LVW claims share a similar geology and weathering history to nearby Clayton Valley, the LVW claims are located within 15 miles of the Montezuma Peak, which is believed to be the source of the regions lithium. The north end of Clayton Valley hosts Chemetall Foote Corporation's Silver Peak Mine, the only lithium brine producer in the United States. Mine production comes from a lithium enriched brine located below the surface. This plant has been in production since 1967 and is designed to produce up to 1.2 million kilograms of lithium hydroxide per annum.

First Liberty Power Corp. is a Nevada based mineral exploration company with a primary focus on lithium and vanadium exploration and development in the United States. The Company is positioned to capitalize on the anticipated increase in demand for both lithium carbonate and vanadium that is projected to result from the adoption and use of clean renewable energy that will fuel demand for products that utilize lithium-ion batteries and vanadium redox batteries.
