First Midwest Bank Launches Online Budgeting Workshops

ITASCA, IL--(Marketwire - November 10, 2010) - First Midwest Bank is pleased to announce its newest online workshop, "Take Charge of Your Financial Future." This budgeting workshop -- which covers cash flow management, savings and budget planning -- is the latest online offering from First Midwest Bank. Anyone can sign up for this workshop at www.firstmidwest.com/workshopregistration. And because it's offered online, it is available on-demand at whatever time and place is convenient for users.

According to the 2009 Harris Interactive Consumer Financial Literacy Survey, more than half of U.S. adults do not keep close track of their spending, and 26% do not pay their bills on time. Therefore, helping people understand and build their budgets is imperative to their financial well-being.

"We are extremely excited to introduce this new, valuable workshop to our clients," said Janet Viano, First Midwest Bank's Group President, Retail Banking. "Budgeting is such an important and easy way to reach your financial goals. We believe this workshop will help our clients get on track and stay on track."
