First Narrows Continues to Increase Size of Susana D'Oro Property in Sonora, Mexico

Results of Regional ASTER Satellite Imagery Study Received

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - July 13, 2007) - First Narrows Resources Corp. (TSX-V: UNO) (PINKSHEETS: FNRWF) ("First Narrows" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Minera FNR de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. ("FNR"), a wholly owned subsidiary of First Narrows Resources Corp., has staked a 637 hectare (1574.1 acres) claim adjoining the southwest of the Susana D'Oro property ("Susana" or the "Property"), in the north-western state of Sonora, Mexico.

FNR either owns, or has the right to acquire, a 100% interest in all Susana claims, which now total 3,012 hectares (7,442.8 acres). Located approximately 120 kilometers (kms) east of the city of Hermosillo, the Property includes a former producer of copper and gold from three high-grade sulphide zones along a vein greater than 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) in length. A gold mineralized breccia system occurs proximal to the historical underground workings; and eluvial and placer gold occurrences are widespread on the Property.

Field confirmation work undertaken for the preparation of the technical report in compliance with National Instrument 43-101 ("NI 43-101") indicates that considerably more extensive, intense and economically significant mineralizing events may have occurred in the area beyond the original claims that cover the historical high grade mineralization.

ASTER Satellite Imagery Study

The Company has received results of an alteration mapping study using ASTER satellite imagery of the region surrounding the Susana D'Oro property. Investigations of several well developed Fe-Oxide, silica, and kaolin alteration targets suggestive of possible copper-molybdenum, copper-gold-silver, and tungsten-molybdenum mineralizing events, are in progress. Cu, Mo, W, Au, and Ag mineral showings are spatially related to the ASTER anomalies. There is no record of the alteration targets, or the historical mineral showings, ever having been evaluated by modern geophysical methods or drilling. Geologically, the Property lies within the western part of the northerly trending copper-molybdenum porphyry and gold mineral belts.
