First Narrows' Director W.E.G. (Blue) Taylor Dies

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - December 19, 2007) - First Narrows Resources Corp. (TSX-V: UNO) (PINKSHEETS: FNRWF) ("First Narrows" or the "Company") regrets to report that William E.G. (Blue) Taylor, a member of the Board of Directors, passed away on December 17, 2007, after a month long illness.

Blue brought a wealth of mining industry experience to First Narrows. Having led teams that opened a number of Canada's major potash mines, Blue was an experienced engineer and manager of large projects on a national and international level. He contributed to the prestigious Canadian Federal Government mining sub-committee of CANMET as a committee member, followed by three years as Chairman. He was also the author of papers on the subjects of mining robotics and automation. In the later part of his career, Blue acted as a financial agent for a number of international mining projects.

Born and raised in England, Blue was a graduate of the Collier Institute in Cambridge and the City and Guilds Institute in London. After traveling extensively at the beginning of his career, he settled in Saskatchewan where he met and married his wife of 49 years, Gloria, and together they raised a wonderful family.

Long time friend Peter Gummer, President of First Narrows, remembers Blue as a man of great integrity, a talented engineer and manager with remarkable foresight and problem solving ingenuity, who assembled numerous successful projects and corporate teams. Blue was a professional, who deeply respected others' competences, a man who got the job done, and a real friend.

The board of directors and management of First Narrows wish to express their condolences to the Taylor family. Blue's forthright, energized approach to life and work will be missed and his contributions to the Company always remembered.
