First Narrows Extends High Grade Copper Mineralization at Chester

14.9 Meter (49 Feet) Wide Intersection in Hole C-06-025

VANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 4, 2006 -- First Narrows Resources Corp. (TSX-V: UNO) (OTCBB: FNRWF), ("First Narrows" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that 9 diamond drill holes totaling 550.5 meters (1,806 feet) have been completed in the near surface, upper area of the Chester Copper Feeder deposit. Drill hole C-06-025 intersected a 14.9 meter (49 feet) wide high grade zone of chalcopyrite (copper sulfide) mineralization.

Photos of the mineralization from the intercept in drill hole C-06-025 are available on the Company's website:

The drill program continues to demonstrate that high grade copper zones occur within the broader lower grade alteration envelope of the feeder structure, from its eastern near surface area of the current drilling, to its westerly deeper down plunge extent.

Secondary metal credits (cobalt, indium, bismuth, gold) are also concentrated in the high grade copper zones.

The core has been logged and sampling is in progress on the most recent 4 holes. A total of 96 samples, taken from the first 4 holes, have been sent to Activation Laboratories in Ontario for assay. Drilling is advancing at a rate of approximately 1 hole per 1.5 days to the north and northwest at 12.5 meter hole spacings.
