First NEXT Home in Cumbria

LEICESTER, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Sept. 13, 2012) - The first every Next Home store in Cumbria will open in Carlisle on Thursday 13th September at 10am. The store will be located on the Kingston Retail Park and will display a wide range of furniture, sofas, decorating and home accessories. Standing 12,604 sq.ft, the store will create 40 new jobs greatly benefiting those in the surrounding area.

Offering all aspects of Next Home and decoration the store will include made to measure blinds and curtains, paint and decorating elements, plus a free home design consultant for any design advice. The home design consultant is a one-to-one service that provides not only inspiring ideas but practical too, which can really transform a house to a home. Not only available in-store, the home design consultant can come to your home for a small fee and work out a unique design with the mood boards, a room scheme and complete itemised list.

To celebrate the opening of the new store Next are giving the first 100 customers a chance to win a Next gift card worth up to £50 in their Golden Ticket competition*. But don't worry if you can't make it for 10am opening because at 5pm the store will giving out another 100 Golden Tickets with another chance to win a Next gift Card worth up to £50*!

The Next Autumn Winter homeware collection is an exciting blend of style and trends, and certainly has something to offer for every home. The Home Comforts range conjures up images of the quintessential English cottage, charming, artsy and comfortable with the inclusion of strawberry pink and leaf green vintage-look floral prints, plaids, stripes and patchwork effects. Think brushed cotton check duvets, floral quilts and mismatched cushions thrown onto antique inspired bedroom furniture in ivories and creams.

Alternatively, the tribal chic range evokes all the sensations of the sumptuous east, with vibrant colours and exotic printed bed linen contrasting with the woven textures. Whilst the Salvage collection features intriguing elements inspired by our industrial past, with tweed textiles and penny farthing prints.   • Home Design Service:
  • A one-to-one service that is available in two tiers.
    Tier 1 - book an appointment with your local Design service consultant to meet in selected Next Home Stores. Customers can bring images and dimensions of rooms and we will present back with design ideas that are practical and a shopping list. This service is free and only available where the Design Consultants are based.
    Tier 2 - A design consultant can visits your home and listen to your requirements. We will then work out a unique design with the mood board and present back to the customer with a room scheme and complete itemised list.
    Fee for this service is £50 for up to 2 rooms (additional rooms £50 each) and an additional £20 fee for any visit that is outside a 60 mile radius of the Next Store where the design consultant is based.
