First of Its Kind Web Site Allows for Public Outing of Unfaithful Lovers

CheaterRegistry.com Offers a Forum for the Jilted and the Curious

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - March 3, 2010) - CheaterRegistry.com, a brand new Web site that creates a forum for registering those who are caught cheating on their partner, has just launched. Once registered, there are a number of ways to post a cheater on the site. Cheaters can be searched for, or registered, by location or name. CheaterRegistry.com is the first of its kind in cyberspace and is sure to draw large volumes of traffic.

"The digital age we now live in and the technologies that have become our addiction are now a part of everyday life and because we share so much online, anonymity has become pretty much non-existent no matter who you are," said one of the contributors to CheaterRegistry.com, Rebecca Young.

"With the recent media coverage on the infidelities of public figures such as Tiger Woods, John Edwards, David Letterman, and the many other politicians, athletes, and celebrities, the time for a site that reveals proven cheaters couldn't be better," Young continued. "We all know the saying 'once a cheater, always a cheater', but we at CheaterRegistry.com are curious to see if fear of being posted on this site will have any influence on people's behaviors as word spreads. We are hopeful that the site is a help to users and not a means for dishonesty or revenge but for communication before a posting takes place."

Cheaters cannot be posted without at least three pieces of information proving the incident. Proof can come in the form of a photo, voicemail, text message conversation or a video that proves the indiscretion. All are easily posted on the site and viewable by anyone who logs in.

One of the key features of the Web site is the ability to search for disloyal men and women by first or last name, or by entering the name of a particular city, making the functionality easy to use for those who are curious.

A second educational element to the site shares expert tips for users to learn the signs to look for from their partner and the red flags that come up in a relationship that may alert them to potential trouble on the horizon. The site will feature guest experts such as private investigators, dating coaches and marriage counselors who will share valuable advise with those who are suspicious they are in a relationship with a cheater.

CheaterRegistry.com officially launched on Tuesday, March 2.
