First Round of Presenting Companies Announced for 2010 Southeast Venture Conference

TYSONS CORNER, VA--(Marketwire - January 6, 2010) - The 2010 Southeast Venture Conference (SEVC) today announced the first round of companies selected to present at its upcoming conference scheduled for February 24-25th at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia.

An expected 60 showcase companies from the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions will present at SEVC 2010. Showcase companies will range from the NASDAQ sponsored late stage showcase firms to earlier stage high growth firms. The presenting companies highlight the present and future of the innovation economy, representing some of the most promising technologies in the region from a diverse range of technology industries, including energy, clean tech, mobile, IT, med tech, security, defense and Internet among others.
