First Thursdays Art Walk -- February 3, 2011, 6 to 9 pm

A Lucky 13th Anniversary Celebration -- Walk & Win!

LAGUNA BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - January 24, 2011) - The biggest party in Laguna Beach will be First Thursdays Art Walk's 13th Anniversary celebration on February 3rd from 6 - 9pm. Why? Not only will it feature its renowned self-guided tour of gallery openings around the town, artist demonstrations and receptions, but also this month Art Walk patrons will have the chance to win incredible prizes as part of this jam-packed "artrageous" anniversary celebration. The event is FREE and so are the trolley service, the entertainment, and the 13th Anniversary Prize Drawing.

Thirteen is the lucky number... 13 winners... 13 fabulous gift packages! Art Walk patrons, 21 years old or older, may enter to win by simply filling out an entry form at any or all participating galleries from 6-9 pm during February's Art Walk. The more galleries you visit the more chances you have to win -- 42 chances in all. As part of the festive spirit, balloons outside their doors will designate Art Walk galleries. Plus, pick up an Art Walk brochure that includes a map, a complete schedule of all the evening's special events at any gallery or on the trolley. There is no beginning or ending point of Art Walk, move around town at your own pace. Prizes include gifts from local hotels (Casa Del Camino, The Tides Motel, The Surf and Sand, Casa Laguna, Hotel Laguna, Capri Laguna, Inn at Laguna and Art Hotel), restaurants (K'ya Restaurant, Las Brisas, Cucina Alessa, French 75, B.J.'s Pizza, Sun Dried Tomato, C'est La Vie, The Lumberyard, The Cottage, Sapphire, 230 Forest, and El Ranchito Restaurant) and tickets from Laguna Beach art organizations (Pageant of the Masters, Laguna Art Museum, Laguna Playhouse, Festival of Arts and LOCA). Winners will be announced and congratulated during the March 3rd First Thursdays Art Walk. For more information and prize packages go to

"If you haven't been on the Art Walk in awhile or never have been, dust off your walking shoes, join Laguna's cultural art scene and help us celebrate," said First Thursdays Art Walk president Rebecca Barber. She continued, "You never know you might win a Laguna Beach get-away hotel package!"

Also adding to the celebratory spirit will be strolling musicians, violinists and saxophonists, playing throughout the town. Preview an exhibition of "Artful Violins" created in support of the 9th annual Laguna Beach Music Festival located at DeBilzan Gallery, Studio Arts Gallery, Swenson Fine Art, JoAnne Artman Gallery, Art Cube Gallery and Dawson Cole Fine Art.

Art patrons are encouraged to visit all the featured galleries from Downtown to Gallery Row to Bluebird to Laguna Canyon Road, enhanced by performances by local musicians and gallery hospitality. Fine art can be a fine investment. Participating Art Walk galleries give you access to buy original artwork of every genre of art.
