Fish & Richardson Represents 21 Companies on Fortune Magazine's "World's Most Admired Companies" List

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - April 5, 2011) - Fish & Richardson today announced that it represents 21 of the 50 companies named to Fortune magazine's annual list of the "World's Most Admired Companies." Google, Microsoft, 3M, and Samsung Electronics are among the 21 Fish clients who made the prestigious list.

The "Most Admired" list is the definitive report card on corporate reputations, and is based on a survey of 4,100 executives, directors, and securities analysts. Results were published in the March 21, 2011 issue of Fortune magazine.

To compile the rankings, Fortune started with approximately 1,400 companies including the 1,000 largest U.S. companies ranked by revenue, non-U.S. companies with revenue of $10 billion or more, and the top foreign companies operating in the U.S. Executives, directors, and analysts then rated companies in their own industry on nine criteria including: innovation, people management, use of assets, social responsibility, management quality, financial soundness, long-term investment, product quality, and global competitiveness. Survey participants were also asked to select the 10 companies they admired most in any industry category. The top 50 "World's Most Admired Companies" were culled from this data.
