Fish & Richardson Sweeps "Tier 1" IP Rankings in Every National U.S. Category From Managing Intellectual Property Magazine

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - February 4, 2011) - Fish & Richardson has received Tier 1 national rankings in Patent Prosecution, Patent Litigation, Life Sciences, and ITC from Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) magazine in their recent rankings of the top IP law firms in the U.S. These four practice areas are the only national categories that MIP ranks law firms in. MIP also ranks firms regionally in Patent Prosecution and Patent Litigation, and Fish received four Tier 1 rankings and three Tier 2 rankings in the regional surveys.

MIP's survey is based on extensive research and interviews with both law firms and clients worldwide in 75 jurisdictions. Based on this research, firms are ranked in tiers in each category in each jurisdiction. The tiers reflect the perception of the leading firms in each market with those in the top tiers receiving the most recommendations for the quality and depth of their practice. The research was conducted between September 2010 and January 2011. This is the 15th year that MIP has published its annual international IP survey.

MIP is a leading international magazine for in-house IP counsel and is part of the Euromoney Legal Media Group with offices in London, Hong Kong, and New York.
