Fisher Communications Names Don Pratt to Lead Boise Stations KBOI-TV (CBS) and KYUU-TV (CW)

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - Jul 25, 2012) - Fisher Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: FSCI), a leader in local media innovation, announced today that Don Pratt has been promoted to Vice President, General Manager of KBOI-TV and KYUU-TV in Boise, Idaho.

Don moves to Fisher's CBS and CW stations in Boise from KATU-TV, the Company's ABC affiliate in Portland, Oregon, where he has served as Vice President, News Director since 2006. His past experience includes the positions of Assistant News Director at WHDH-TV in Boston, News Director at WCSC-TV in Charleston and Executive Producer at KGO-TV in San Francisco.

Don is a graduate of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and received his Master's degree from Emerson College in Boston.
