Fisher Investments to Release New Stock Market Outlook

Quarterly Report Will Provide Insights to the Firm's Forecast for the Remainder of the Year

WOODSIDE, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 7, 2011) - Tomorrow Fisher Investments will release an executive summary preview of its upcoming Third Quarter 2011 Stock Market Outlook, which the firm regularly publishes for investors interested in learning about its most recent market views.

Following a brief pullback early in the second quarter, stocks rallied in June, and the global market as measured by the MSCI World Index was up slightly more than 5% halfway through the year. In its executive summary, Fisher Investments explains why it expects markets to remain choppy for the rest of the year, with overall returns modestly positive. The firm's Investment Policy Committee explains, "We still see two very divided sentiment camps -- newly bullish and dug-in bearish -- contributing to ongoing back-and-forth market action in 2011."

The executive summary also discusses the probable market impact of widely discussed current events, including the economic effects of Japan's earthquake, the prospects of a so-called "double-dip" recession in the US, and the end of the Fed's second round of quantitative easing. Also discussed are the European monetary union, municipal bond defaults, and the implications of the US federal debt ceiling. Finally, the executive summary offers a sneak peek of the firm's preliminary outlook for 2012 and explains whether Fisher Investments sees any big risks for stock investors. Also touched upon is how historical events similar to today's have affected stocks in the past.

The full Stock Market Outlook, which comprehensively explores the topics previewed in the executive summary, should be available in the coming weeks. Both the executive summary and the full report will be made available on the firm's website,
