FishNet Security Kicks Off 2010 With Exceptional First Quarter, 47 Percent Revenue Growth and New Enterprise Customers

Successful Growth Strategy Started in 2009 Includes Acquisitions, Expansion Into Infrastructure Market and Addition of Industry Leaders to Management Team

KANSAS CITY, MO--(Marketwire - May 19, 2010) -  FishNet Security, the nation's leading provider of information security solutions that combine technology, services, support, and training, today announced that it opened up 2010 with a remarkable first quarter, recording a 47 percent revenue increase over Q1 of 2009, as well as welcoming over 150 new accounts into its customer fold. This continued momentum, which started in 2009, was driven by the addition of an Infrastructure line of business, additional consulting and managed services offerings, and continued demand for cost-effective information security products and solutions that respond to growing compliance demands and evolving cyber threats.

In 2009, FishNet Security experienced double-digit growth in revenues, added over 800 enterprise customers to its 4,500-strong customer base, and significantly increased its industry footprint through the acquisition of Acuity Solutions. In late 2009, FishNet Security expanded its executive team to include Steve Messick, former Symantec senior vice president of sales, and Mark Williams, former CFO of Mediware. Steve Messick joins FishNet Security's leadership team as the Senior Vice President in charge of services. During Messick's 27 year career he has provided leadership to sales organizations with more than 2,000 members, consistently exceeded business expectations, and effectively managed mergers and acquisitions to support sales objectives and business strategies. Also joining the executive team as Chief Financial Officer is Mark Williams. Williams brings to FishNet Security over 17 years of experience working with both publicly traded and privately held software and technology companies. He also spent more than 10 years with public accounting firms, where he gained significant experience with mergers, acquisitions and capital markets.
