fitlosophy and LA Boxing Team Up to Knockout Breast Cancer

COSTA MESA, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 30, 2011) - fitlosophy, inc., creator of fitness + nutrition journal and goal setting system fitbook™, has teamed up with LA Boxing in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month with a special campaign to knockout cancer, boxing4boobs. The mission of boxing4boobs is to create awareness about breast cancer prevention, raise funds for breast cancer charities, and provide opportunities for men and women to try the healthy-living solutions offered by fitlosophy and LA Boxing.

Beginning October 1, 2011, a limited edition fitbook PINK™ will be available at LA Boxing locations across the country and online at www.getfitbook.com. fitbook PINK will contain all of the benefits of the original fitbook, only it will feature pink binding and display a pink breast cancer ribbon on its cover to support breast cancer research and awareness programs. fitbook is a unique 12-week planning system that provides the framework to set goals, record workouts and log food intake on a daily basis. LA Boxing will be giving back to the community in honor of breast cancer awareness month by offering free kickboxing classes all day October 8, 2011 at gyms nationwide and donating a portion of proceeds during the month of October.

fitbook will be available for purchase throughout October and for every fitbook PINK sold, $4 will be donated to breast cancer charities. Half of all contributions will be given to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade whose beneficiaries range from leading cancer research and clinical centers to community-based, non-profit breast health education programs. The additional funds raised from each fitbook PINK will be donated to MyLifeLine.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the needs of cancer patients and their families and friends to foster connection, inspiration, and healing.

In addition, fitlosophy will also be offering pink tank tops printed with the company's mantra: "live life fit" throughout the boxing4boobs campaign. Tank tops will be available for purchase at www.getfitbook.com and $2 for every shirt sold will be donated to the designated breast cancer related charities.

"fitlosophy is tickled PINK to join forces with LA Boxing this year to give breast cancer a healthy punch through the boxing4boobs campaign," said Angela Manzanares, chief fitlosopher of fitlosophy, inc.
