KELOWNA, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 29, 2014) - Five Hole for Food (FHFF) has been playing hockey for food during its annual cross-country tour for the past four summers. The FHFF team is heading back to Kelowna to warm up before embarking on its landmark fifth summer tour. And FHFF wants to know if Kelowna is ready to play hockey for food on June 7.
All ages and skill levels are welcome to the FHFF Kelowna event. All that Kelownians need to do is simply bring a hockey stick to play in a drop-in ball hockey game and, if they dare, challenge the FHFF crew in the face-off circle. While there is no charge to play, participants and spectators are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation. Volunteers from the Kelowna Community Food Bank will be on site to collected donations.
