FivePoint Sponsors Irvine Meadows Summer Concerts as Storied Venue Hosts Its Final Season

Great Park Neighborhoods Developer Supports Amphitheater's 35-Year Tradition of Live Music in Orange County as Fans Bid Farewell

ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 23, 2016) - Great Park Neighborhoods developer FivePoint Holdings has agreed to sponsor a Concert Series at Irvine Meadows Amphitheater. The FivePoint concert series at Irvine Meadows brings together Live Nation (NYSE: LYV) and California's largest developer for a farewell to Orange County's largest and most popular outdoor concert stage.

"Few places can match Orange County on a summer night to enjoy a live performance and we are delighted to help make the final season at Irvine Meadows the most memorable yet," said Emile Haddad, Chairman and CEO of FivePoint. "For the past 35 years, Irvine Meadows has hosted generations of diverse fans that reflect the energy and creativity of Orange County. FivePoint is honored to support that tradition and we are eager to help keep it alive."

Opened in 1981, Irvine Meadows grew with Orange County into one of the nation's premier venues as it hosted acts as varied as Michael Jackson, Jimmy Buffett and the Pacific Symphony Orchestra. The amphitheater is slated to close this fall after its current season, the 35th

"While Irvine Meadows will be missed, the support of partners like FivePoint ensures the final season will be a worthy cap to an amazing tradition. A place as dynamic as Orange County deserves a stage that attracts the top acts in the world," said Bret Gallagher, President, Live Nation, Southern California.

FivePoint is in the midst of building out 688 acres of the Great Park -- including playing fields, natural parkland, a golf course and multi-purpose trails -- as part of a $200-million public benefit package approved by the City of Irvine in 2013. FivePoint committed $2 million toward the study and planning of facilities within the cultural terrace where the amphitheater is proposed. Near the Irvine Transportation Center, the proposed cultural terrace site at the south end of the Great Park would extend the publicly accessible areas of the park from Irvine Boulevard all the way to Barranca Parkway.

Spanning the state from Southern California to the San Francisco Bay Area, FivePoint is the largest owner and developer of mixed-use, master planned communities in coastal California based on the total number of residential homesites permitted to be developed under existing entitled zoning. These communities represent major real estate developments in three of the most dynamic and supply-constrained markets along the California coast -- Orange County, Los Angeles County and San Francisco County.
