Fixmo and EyeVerify Announce Joint Speaking Appearance at the Biometric Consortium Conference September 17-19 in Tampa, FL

Demo of Eyeprint Verification Integrated With Fixmo SafeZone at the Onsite Technology Expo

TAMPA, FL--(Marketwired - Sep 16, 2013) - EyeVerify and Fixmo are pleased to announce that they will be making a joint presentation on "Securing the Mobile Experience with Biometrics" at the Biometric Consortium Conference & Technology Expo in Tampa, FL on September 19. The live demo will showcase the Fixmo SafeZone Secure Workspace Solution integrated with Eyeprint Verification to deliver a password free-mobile experience and secure authentication at a glance.

In this session, Fixmo will discuss biometrics' role in the Fixmo Enterprise Mobility Management Solution for government and regulated markets. As organizations continue to migrate more and more vital and sensitive data and applications to mobile devices, the need to verify the authenticity of users is critical. Fixmo Secure Gesture provides user authentication and identity verification that is simple to use, simple to remember, not so simple to fool. Now, Fixmo will also integrate Eyeprint Verification into Fixmo Safezone secure container technology as an authentication method.

Toby Rush, CEO of EyeVerify explains, "There is no doubt that market interest in biometrics for BYOD deployments has leaped dramatically this quarter. Enterprises need a solution that works on a broad array of Apple iPhone and Google Android devices. Passwords are not ideal in enterprise mobility deployments because they degrade the end-user experience, are easily forgotten and can leave an enterprise vulnerable. Based on findings by Symantec, 96% of people who found a lost cell phone attempted to access sensitive information such as online banking or HR salaries."[1]

"We are pleased to join EyeVerify at the Biometrics Consortium Conference in Tampa. BYOD customers are asking for additional options for end user authentication. Fixmo Secure Gesture and Eyeprint Verification both provide user authentication that is easier to use, yet more secure, than complex passwords. We think that EyeVerify's Eyeprint Verification is a unique biometric approach that is appealing to numerous government and enterprise segments," said Lee Cocking, VP Strategy and Risk Intelligence at Fixmo.
