FLIR Systems Announces $16 Million Order to Support International Counter-Terrorism


PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - Jul 15, 2013) - FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) announced today that it has received a $16 million order for its Recon B2-FO integrated dual-channel thermal binoculars from an Asian government customer strategically allied with the United States. This longstanding FLIR customer is one of the largest users of the company's successful Recon product line.

Work under this order will be performed out of FLIR's facility in Billerica, MA, with shipments expected to be completed in the next 12 months.
