FLIR Systems Announces Delivery Orders Totaling $57.7 Million From the U.S. Army


PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwire - March 12, 2008) - FLIR Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: FLIR) announced today that it has been awarded multiple delivery orders totaling $57.7 million from the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command in Huntsville, Alabama for its Star SAFIRE® III stabilized multi sensor systems and THV-3000 Long Range Imager Systems. The units delivered under these orders will support ongoing U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps programs. These orders were made pursuant to a previously awarded indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. Work on the delivery orders will begin immediately and be performed in FLIR's Portland, Oregon and Stockholm, Sweden production facilities.
