Florida State's Don Veller Seminole Golf Course Installs Wi-Fi Golf Management System From GPS Industries

Inforemer® Management System Delivers New Revenue Streams Including In-Cart Advertising

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 17, 2007) - GPS Industries, Inc. (GPSI) (OTCBB:GPSN), the world's leading provider of WiFi-enabled golf management systems and 'direct to the golfer' media, today announced that Florida State University's Don Veller Seminole Golf Course will install the company's state-of-the-art Inforemer® HDX display units on their new fleet of 76 Yamaha Drive electric golf carts.

Along with the 10.4-inch cart-mounted display screens, GPS Industries' Inforemer® system provides clubs like Seminole a comprehensive suite of management software applications that streamline operations and and integrated WiFi communications network, which turns the entire facility into a wireless hot-spot.

"We are very pleased that Florida State University and the Don Veller Seminole Golf Course have chosen our Inforemer system," said GPS Industries Vice President of Sales, Jim Colson. "Florida is obviously a very important market for our golf management solutions. We have just recently strengthened our sales presence in that market and we are already seeing significant results. This deal is an illustration of that fact."

Tim Melloh, General Manager of Seminole Golf Course & Club, praised both the robust nature of the technology and the affordability of the system: "The Inforemer system is clearly head and shoulders above the rest of the competition. We chose it for its sophistication and the unique marketing program that makes it much more affordable to obtain."

Melloh continues: "The Inforemer system addresses a common problem on many heavily used courses around the country, speed of play. The technology enables the golf shop staff to monitor play and help people waiting to tee off, in the fairway, or on the green receive accurate information on how to move along the course in a timely manner. Even the ability to order food from the course's Renegade Grill while you're out on the course will save golfers time at the turn."

FSU also sees the system as a valuable learning tool for their Dedmond School of Hospitality's Professional Golf Management program. The Course is used extensively in the program as a place where students can gain facility management experience in a real-world setting. FSU's Professional Golf Management major is one of only eighteen programs accredited by The PGA of America. The state of Florida has more golf courses than any other state in the country and is the headquarters for the PGA, LPGA, PGA Tour, and National Golf Foundation and Florida State University has a long, distinguished history of graduating professional golfers and educating students for business and hospitality operations.

"Not only do we add a top-notch golf facility to our roster, this deal also connects us with a well-respected Professional Golf Management program," said GPSI's Colson. "Through informational seminars and on-site workshops we can educate the course operators of tomorrow to the advantages of running a facility with a state-of-the-art WiFi-powered GPS management system."

The deal also includes GPSI's unique Fire at the Flag promotion, a unique international hole-in-one program that culminates with an annual Grand Prize Shootout for $10 million dollars. Fire at the Flag provides golf courses with an exciting promotion to drive green fees and tournament sales throughout the year. Golfers opt-in to the program with payment of a $10 dollar entry fee and, on a selected par-3 hole, takes a shot at a $10,000 cash prize. All $10,000 winners in a calendar year are flown to Naples, Florida to participate in the $10 million dollar Grand Prize Shootout with Greg Norman during the week-long activities of the Merrill-Lynch Shootout, a PGA Tour sanctioned event.
