Flowtronex® Unveils Industry's First Web-Enabled Water Pump Control System

Pace™ Integrated Pump Controller Facilitates Water Conservation, Reduces Costs

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - February 10, 2011) - Flowtronex, a division of ITT Corporation that provides efficient pumping systems for golf courses, landscapes, sporting fields and other venues is pioneering a new way for golf course superintendents to manage and measure water use in irrigation systems. Flowtronex has designed and developed the industry's first networking and remote monitoring solution for maximizing water and energy efficiency of pump and water irrigation systems.

"The Pace Integrated Pump Controller is a category game changer, raising the bar on efficiency as the first and only control system of its kind to provide power consumption data from the irrigation system to the golf course superintendent," said Boyd Rose, business manager, turf irrigation, Flowtronex. "The system provides state-of-the-art global remote access using the system's IP address from any computer or smartphone."

Pace features a full menu of reporting capabilities to save the user time and effort, while promoting water conservation. Real-time connectivity allows for data and historical reports to be generated and accessed instantly. The reports can be used as accounting tools for management companies or government agencies, and information can be exported to spreadsheets for tracking and measurement.

The control system is compatible with several irrigation systems, including agricultural, golf course and turf irrigation, and municipal pumping systems, reverse osmosis systems, chemical injection and filtration. It can be used for any irrigated landscape, and is scalable to the addition or expansion of the water pump system.

"Our goal is to provide premier products and support to golf course superintendants across the globe," said Rose. "Pace offers advanced technology that is unmatched in the marketplace, giving our customers the tools to reduce costs, conserve valuable resources and more accurately manage irrigation systems."

Pace is available in partnership with The Toro Company, a global leader in turf maintenance equipment and precision irrigation systems. As part of this alliance, Flowtronex pump stations are available through Toro distributors when superintendents purchase Toro irrigation products.

Pace is backed by the industry-leading FlowNet™ customer service network, comprised of factory-trained and supported independent contractors around the globe.
