Fluent Tees Off Its 2014 Annual Charity Golf Outing With New Beneficiary

Leading Brand, Agency, and Digital Marketing Industry Leaders Teaming Up to Build Awareness and Raise Proceeds for Services for the UnderServed


NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jul 10, 2014) - August 13, will celebrate the fourth annual Fluent Charity Golf Tournament where a number of brand, agency and digital marketing executives will unite for a day of golf, building awareness and fundraising to benefit Services for the UnderServed, a nonprofit human services agency with a reputation for supporting veterans and individuals and families faced with a wide range of challenges, from mental illness, disabilities, and HIV/AIDS, often compounded by histories of homelessness, substance abuse, poverty and unemployment.

"We're excited to continue our efforts toward building awareness and raising funds for those in need. Plus, thanks to our presenting sponsors we're aligned with Services for the UnderServed to contribute funds for supporting veterans and individuals and families faced with a wide range of challenges, from mental illness, disabilities, and HIV/AIDS."

The tournament began in 2010 as the brainchild of Mohit Singla, Fluent's director of compliance. Employees from Fluent and sponsor organizations will volunteer in organizing the event and proceeds will support the work of this very deserving non-profit organization.

The tournament will take place on Wednesday August 13th at the Dyker Beach Golf Course in Brooklyn, NY. The Golf Outing will kick off with a "Meet and Greet" BBQ lunch at 11:30am, then will move into a prompt shotgun tee-time of 1:30pm. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the "Longest Drive," "Closest-to-Pin," and the overall winning team. There are also prizes for making a hole-in-one, including a brand new car! The event will conclude with a buffet-style dinner, awards reception, and raffle. Some of the raffle prizes include: Apple iPad, sports memorabilia, and various food tour and restaurant gift certificates.
