EVERETT, WA--(Marketwire - May 4, 2009) - Just a year after its introduction, the new Fluke 287 True-rms Electronics Logging Multimeter with TrendCapture has been voted a 'Best in Test' award winner in its category by the readers of Test & Measurement World magazine.

The magazine's editors nominated the Fluke 287 in the General Purpose Instruments category. Readers then voted for their preferred products in that and 14 other categories. Category winners were announced April 1 at and in the magazine's April issue.

In nominating the Fluke 287, the magazine's editors said, "The Fluke 287 True-rms Electronics Logging Multimeter with TrendCapture enables users to characterize the performance of a design and see trend information directly on the meter's display, without downloading readings to a PC. Other features include context-sensitive help screens for measurement functions, a multilingual interface, and multiple save options with automatic time stamping for recalling measurements made in the field."
