Focus Enhancements Adds HX Series High-Definition Video Switchers to HD Workflow Product Line-up

Four-Channel and Eight-Channel HD-SDI Video Switchers Provide Broadcasters and Video Professionals With Powerful Live Switching and Effects

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 16, 2007 -- NAB2007 -- Focus Enhancements Inc. (NASDAQ: FCSE), a worldwide leader in media management and Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless technology, today announced the latest addition to its line-up of enhanced HD workflow solutions. The new HX-1 and HX-2 high-definition video switchers provide broadcasters and video professionals with the highest quality switching and effects available today.

The HX series will be on display in the Enhancements booth, SL2605, at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show in the Las Vegas Convention Center, April 16-19, 2007.

The stand-alone and ultra-portable four HD-SDI input HX-1 features active loop-through on all inputs for easy monitoring, as well as three dual HD-SDI outputs for program, preview, and video effects monitoring. The mix and wipe functionality of the HX-1 includes eight wipe patterns and adjustable effects such as soft edges, border size, and border color.

The HX-2 features eight HD-SDI inputs, in addition to two external DSK inputs and a self chroma key function. The HX-2 also offers switchable HD/SD operation, six separate outputs, auto or manual mix/wipe operation (with eight different wipe patterns) and a 2D DVE. Both models are ideally suited for demanding and space-constrained environments such as broadcast OB vans, studios, and rental houses.
