Panasonic's New Blu-ray Disc Changer Offers Economical Nearline Storage Capability to the ProxSys Family of MAM Solutions

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 17, 2007 -- NAB2007 -- Focus Enhancements Inc (NASDAQ: FCSE), a worldwide leader in media management and ultra wideband (UWB) wireless technology, today announced that it is showcasing the Panasonic AJ-CM50BD Blu-ray Changer as an additional nearline storage solution for its ProxSys family of Media Asset Management (MAM) solutions. The Panasonic Blu-ray Changer will be demonstrated at NAB 2007, April 16-19, 2007, along with the ProxSys family, in both the Focus Enhancements booth (SL2605) and Panasonic booth (C3613).

The Panasonic AJ-CM50BD is designed for economical nearline storage of P2 Media files in DV/DVCPRO/DVCPROHD format. It accepts up to 30 non-cartridge BD/DVD-RAM discs, and it supports 25GB rewritable single-layer (BD-RE25), and 50GB rewritable dual-layer (BD-RE50) for a total storage capacity of 1.5TB. AJ-CM50BD supports both Macintosh and Windows and connects to a host PC via USB2.0. Media descriptions are stored via on-disk RFID tags.

The ProxSys Family of MAM solutions is designed to streamline acquisition, storage, and retrieval of digital media, making asset management simple and effective. Several solutions are available, from small- to medium-sized solutions to full enterprise-level systems.
