BRADENTON, FL--(Marketwire - Aug 24, 2011) - ETCO Incorporated has introduced terminals for connecting wire to aluminum and copper-foil, and film laminates that come in strip form to speed wire processing operations. These foil terminals can be engineered and manufactured to OEM specifications.

ETCO FWC Series Connectors are designed for attaching 8 to 22 AWG wires to aluminum- and copper-foil or film laminates from 0.001" to 0.095" thick. Suitable for use in transformers, capacitors, relays, flexible heaters, and electro-luminescent lighting and displays, ETCO FWC Series Connectors are available in brass and tinned high brass. Supplied in strip form, they can be made in a wide range of custom sizes and thicknesses to accommodate different sized substrates and precisely match OEM design requirements.

ETCO FWC Series Connectors are priced according to material, configuration, and quantity. Free samples, literature, and price quotations are provided upon request.

About ETCO Incorporated

ETCO Incorporated was founded in 1947 as Electric Terminal Corporation. The original company produced wall plug blades in strip form for attachment by the customer on a patented air operated machine. ETCO still produces wall plug blades, although the production speeds have increased from 175 parts per minute to as fast as 3,000 parts per minute. Today, the company's product line has expanded into thousands of different products; both catalog and custom terminal products designed and tooled for their customer's individual needs.

ETCO's proprietary terminal products now represent about half their sales and the company is divided into several divisions representing distinct product areas. The reason for this is so that each division can respond to the customer with the care and concern of a small manufacturer while retaining the resources of a larger manufacturer. This formula has worked well and the ETCO philosophy of "old values and customer service" has propelled the company to a position of industry leadership.
