About Aron Aicard
Aicard is currently responsible for end-to-end product management, including research, product definition, project management, pricing and packaging. Aicard prides himself on his ability to make decisions that mutually benefit customers and Fonality. After many years of frustration with the status quo in the business telephony market, Aicard nearly abandoned the space to work in a more customer-centric industry. After learning more about Fonality, he found new hope in this market, left his previous employer of 10 years, and set a course to help Fonality reshape telephony as we once knew it.

Prior to Fonality, Aicard held several positions at Inter-Tel/Mitel, including director of product management and director of product marketing. For roughly seven years, he helped steer the definition, implementation, positioning and strategic direction of their line-up of converged IP telephony solutions, including phones, applications and core systems.

About Andrew Gillis
Gillis has an extensive background in telecommunications and telephony. When Asterisk started gaining momentum Gillis saw the difficulty that many people were having integrating an operating system, the Asterisk code, and the popular add-ons such as AMP (now called FreePBX), Flash Operator Panel, and Web Meetme. His Asterisk@Home project launched in November of 2004 became an immediate success. Fonality saw this as an excellent entry point for many people and acquired the project along with Gillis and re-launched the project as trixbox. Today, Gillis still runs the trixbox CE project and continues to add new features and improvements to the project.
