Fontana Wines Signs Marketing Partnership With Bowling Industry to Become the Preferred Wine

As Part of a Two-Year Agreement, More Than 2,000 Bowling Centers Will Feature the Collection of Italian Wine on Its Menus

ARLINGTON, TX--(Marketwire - June 18, 2009) - Fontana Wines announced today that it has signed an agreement with Strike Ten Entertainment, the marketing arm of the bowling industry, in a six-figure, two-year partnership. The marketing partnership, which recognizes Fontana as the preferred wine of Strike Ten Entertainment, makes several varietals available to more than 2,000 centers across the United States. The initial offering of a cabernet sauvignon and a chardonnay, especially selected for Strike Ten membership, will be released at Bowl Expo in Las Vegas the week of June 22. Additional varietals including sparkling wines, banquet wines and premium wines will be released throughout the rest of this year as Fontana Wines collaborates closely with Strike Ten membership to tailor wine offerings to regional center demands.

The Fontana Wine partnership calls for category preferred status. As part of the agreement, Fontana promotional items will be featured across 2,000 BPAA bowling centers and the brand will have a presence at three major bowling events: USBC Queens, Clash of Champions, and USBC U.S. Women's Open. Additionally, where permitted by law, Fontana Wines will include wine education, awareness programs and host special event promotions at participating BPAA centers including corporate parties, New Year's Eve celebrations and more.
