Food Bank to Receive an Outpouring of Milk from Rock Ridge Dairy!

The Calgary Food Bank will receive a large donation of milk just in time for the 2012 Holiday Hampers from Rock Ridge Dairy Ltd.

Owners of Rock Ridge Dairy and Bos Farm, Patrick and Cherylynn Bos will deliver approximately 800 litres of 2% Organic milk, processed fresh this week at their facility in Ponoka, Alberta.

WHAT: A skid-load of donated milk all tied up in a bow!

WHEN: Friday December 14, approximately 2:00 p.m.

WHY: Because the Bos family is doing something amazing and challenging others to do the same

Tens of thousands of children, youth and pregnant women access the Calgary Food Bank every year. Each Emergency Food Hamper receives 1L of milk - more if there are children or nursing moms in the household. More often than not, milk is purchased by the Calgary Food Bank to fulfill our Hamper requirements. This donation will help as many as 800 households!
