MIAMI BEACH, FL--(Marketwired - Sep 16, 2013) - The 13th annual Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival presented by FOOD & WINE is pleased to announce next year's program of events taking place February 20-23, 2014. Widely recognized as America's most prestigious gourmet gathering, there are new (and unexpected) faces joining in on the fun this year. The Festival is pleased to welcome the addition of the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Models, who will be featured at Moët Hennessy's The Q presented by Creekstone Farms sponsored by MIAMI magazine hosted by Michael Symon on Thursday, February 20. To date the Festival has raised more than $18 million for the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at Florida International University, and the School will open its new state-of-the-art Teaching Restaurant Management Lab built as a result of these funds during the Festival weekend.

"We are delighted to announce our 2014 line-up of events, featuring several unique dinner experiences with renowned chefs, new parties and seminars, and the return of our signature events," said Festival Founder and Director Lee Brian Schrager, who also serves as the Vice President of Corporate Communications & National Events for Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc. "In addition to featuring the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Models at one of our marquee events to kick-off the Festival weekend, we are also pleased to honor Union Square Hospitality Group CEO Danny Meyer and Caymus Vineyards owner and winemaker Chuck Wagner at our annual Tribute Dinner at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel this year."

The 2014 line-up includes the return of the Festival's iconic Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Village featuring MasterCard Grand Tasting Tents and KitchenAid® Culinary Demonstrations, Amstel Light Burger Bash presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats hosted by Rachael Ray, Fontainebleau Miami Beach presents Wine Spectator's Best of the Best sponsored by Bank of America & Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Celebrity Chef Golf Tournament hosted by José Andrés, Fun and Fit as a Family sponsored by Carnival hosted by Robert Irvine, Thrillist's BBQ & The Blues hosted by Bobby Deen, Chicken Coupe hosted by Andrew Carmellini, Southern Kitchen Brunch hosted by Trisha Yearwood, Goya Foods' Swine & Wine hosted by Michelle Bernstein, and more!

The Festival will once again highlight a variety of nationally and internationally acclaimed chefs, including Mario Carbone & Rich Torrisi, Bruno Oteiza, Rocco DiSpirito, Giada De Laurentiis, Masaharu Morimoto & Ming Tsai, Bobby Flay, and many more, taking place at popular South Florida restaurants with local chef hosts, as part of the plethora of intimate dinners offered in 2014. In addition, the Festival branches out to screen "Soul of a Banquet" -- the deeply personal story of Chef Cecilia Chiang, known for introducing America to authentic Chinese food, at the Miami Beach SoundScape in partnership with Miami International Film Festival. Special guest Ruth Reichl, writer and former restaurant critic for The New York Times, will speak to the importance of Chiang's impact on the dining scene nationwide.

Those looking for one of the Festival's swanky late-night soirées will be rewarded with plenty of options as well, including FLAUNT presented by Belvedere Vodka, Moët & Chandon Champagne, Hennessy, Champagne Veuve Clicquot & GM Titanium, Mix It Up with Morimoto & Friends, Sammy's Beach Bar Rum and CABO WABO Tequila present Emeril and Sammy's Rockin' Beach Party, and more!
