Foothills Completes Wireline Coring Project and Continues Global Expansion

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 12, 2005) - Foothills Diamond Coring Inc. is pleased to announce the successful completion of a large Wireline Coring Service project and the Company's continued expansion into worldwide markets.

In conjunction with Impact Drilling, Foothills Diamond Coring Inc. was utilized by an unconventional gas exploration company from August 12 through August 18, 2005 in Northeast British Columbia. During the course of this project 357 meters of 3" core were cut with a 97% recovery rate. Minimal bit damage occurred with ROP's up to 22 meters/hour.

Foothills Diamond Coring Inc. is a 45 year old Canadian owned oil and gas coring service company focused solely on coring equipment and services. These include conventional coring, coring of tar sands and unconsolidated formations and wireline coring. Foothills is also currently completing testing of a new sidetrack coring tool that allows coring after drilling and logging using one round trip.
