Pearson College is open to 200 students ages 16-19 from over 100 countries, who live study and grow together for two years on a campus spectacularly situated in a rainforest at the western tip of Vancouver Island. The College opened in 1974 under the mandate of its namesake, Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson, to use education as a force to unite people, nations and culture for peace and a sustainable future. Pearson's education is transformational, but there's only one way to get here—by scholarship, worth $80,000 over two years.

While one quarter of our graduates since 1974 have been Canadian, Pearson College purposely recruits students from regions of conflict so that the next generation will know how to work together to bring about peaceful change.
