For the 4th Year Hotels in Cancun Celebrate Earth Hour

CANCUN, MEXICO--(Marketwired - Apr 5, 2013) - On March 23, 2013, JW Marriott Cancun Resort & Spa and CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort joined others in 6,950 cities and towns across 152 countries and territories around the globe for Earth Hour.

For the fourth year in a row, these two resorts in Cancun participated in the world's largest initiative on climate change. Created by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in 2006, the annual international event is held the third Saturday in March and aims to draw attention to the declining state of the environment by asking participants to turn off non-essential lights and electrical appliances for one hour.
