Foran Reports First Quarter 2016 Results

VANCOUVER, BC --(Marketwired - May 30, 2016) - Foran Mining Corporation (TSX VENTURE: FOM) ("Foran" or the "Company") today announced its financial results for the three-month period ended March 31, 2016. The Company recorded a net loss of $315,435 or $0.00 per share (basic and diluted). This compares to a net loss of $510,401 or $0.01 per share (basic and diluted) for the three-month period ended March 31, 2015.

As at March 31, 2016, the Company had a total of $717,712 in cash and cash equivalents and working capital totaled $696,197.

The unaudited Condensed Consolidated Interim Financial Statements for the three-month period ended March 31, 2016, along with Management's Discussion and Analysis, have been filed on SEDAR and are available at

Foran is an exploration and development company focused on copper-zinc in the Hanson Lake Camp of east-central Saskatchewan.
