Former ADC Telecommunications CEO Joins Cyan Board of Directors

Robert Switz Brings Extensive International Background and Experience in Working With Tier-One Service Providers to Cyan Board

PETALUMA, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 26, 2011) - Cyan today announced the addition of Robert Switz to its board of directors. Switz brings more than 20 years of network infrastructure and global communication solutions experience, including 17 years with ADC Telecommunications, 10 years as CFO and the last seven years as CEO.

More recently, he placed the company on a renewed profitable growth trajectory coming out of the global recession of 2009 and 2010.

Prior to his positions at ADC, Switz held several other positions within the company, including executive vice president and CFO, as well as president of broadband access at Transport Group. He also held numerous leadership positions in areas such as strategic planning, business development, corporate technology and information systems.

Previously, Switz served as Vice President and CFO of European Operations, Ventures and Finance at Burr-Brown Corporation, following the acquisition by Texas Instruments. He also held executive positions at Gulfstar, PepsiCo, AMF and Olin Corporation.
