Former Chief of Staff to Two Governors Joins e.Republic's Center for Digital Government

SACRAMENTO, CA--(Marketwire - January 26, 2011) - e.Republic's Center for Digital Government is pleased to announce the addition of William H. Leighty as a senior fellow to its impressive bench of state and local government experts.

Leighty formerly served as chief of staff to both Gov. Tim Kaine and Gov. Mark Warner of Virginia and was the chief operating officer for the commonwealth. Leighty specializes in designing, implementing and guiding large-scale performance management systems and assisting organizations with change management.

Leighty has repeatedly been recognized for his dedication -- and success -- in public service. In 2007, Governing magazine named him one of nine "Public Officials of the Year."
