Former Citi Retail Analyst Deborah Weinswig Joins TradeStone's Bamboo Rose Advisory Board

Industry Icon Weinswig to Provide Council and Guidance on Linking TradeStone's Marketplace to Retail Global Expansion Strategies and Profits

GLOUCESTER, MA--(Marketwired - November 05, 2013) - TradeStone Software, delivering Merchandise Lifecycle Management (MLM) solutions that unify the design, sourcing, ordering and delivery of retail goods, today announced that former Citi Analyst and renowned retail expert Deborah Weinswig has joined TradeStone's Bamboo Rose Advisory Board. In her Advisor role, Deborah will provide management with industry insights that will help them continue the growth and momentum of the Bamboo Rose marketplace.

Bamboo Rose is changing the way retailers, suppliers, wholesalers, and brands work and interact. The invitation-only marketplace lets people come together to find great products, and share and collaborate on ideas and inspirations across teams and their supplier companies. Using Bamboo Rose's showrooms, the suppliers and international business arm of retailers can offer their brands to franchisees and international customers to view and place orders.

"I've long admired Sue and her team's ability to anticipate and read the future for what retailers, suppliers, wholesalers, and brands need to make their jobs more creative, fun and exciting," said Deborah Weinswig. "Bamboo Rose does just that. I am delighted to be a part of the team that provides guidance for this innovative new marketplace as it paves the way for how forward-thinking retailers wish, share and shop for ideas and products."

Deborah Weinswig brings a wealth of experience to TradeStone's Bamboo Rose Advisory Board having most recently served as Global Consumer Discretionary Sector Head for Citi Research as well as leading the Retailing/Broadlines and Food & Drug Chains teams. She recently received ICSC's Researcher Award for Outstanding Service and was recognized as one of the "36 Best Analysts on Wall Street" by Business Insider. Weinswig is also very involved in thought leadership in her industry and was one of the founding members of the Oracle Retail Strategy Council and is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Research Task Force.

"Deborah was the first Wall Street analyst that tied retail strategy to technology," said Sue Welch, CEO, TradeStone Software. "She has always been quick to identify retailers who have discovered huge ROI and changed the way they've done business through technology. Her passion and vast knowledge distinguished her work with Citi and we consider it a big win for the company to have her join our Board. We look forward to working closely together to grow Bamboo Rose and revolutionize the retail shopping and buying experience for brands and suppliers around the world."
