Former Democratic Majority Leader Dick Gephardt Joins Aravo's Board of Directors

Retired 14-Term United States Congressman to Give Strategic Counsel and Direction to Leading Provider of On Demand Supplier Information Management Software

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - September 5, 2007) - Aravo Solutions, Inc., the leading provider of on demand supplier information management (SIM) software and services, today announced that former Democratic Majority Leader Dick Gephardt has joined Aravo's Board of Directors. Congressman Gephardt will provide Aravo's management team with strategic counsel and direction in the areas of business development, strategy, public policy and globalization.

"We are extremely pleased to welcome Dick to our board of directors," said Tim Albinson, Aravo's CEO. "We will undoubtedly benefit greatly from his experience and counsel, particularly as we grow our new offering in the area of sustainable supply chains, environmental risk management and corporate social responsibility. We're honored to have him on the team."

Before forming Gephardt Group, LLC, Congressman Gephardt served as Majority Leader of the United States House of Representatives and has been one of the nation's most respected politicians for much of the last three decades. He is an expert on economic issues and foreign affairs, and an eloquent voice for fairness, justice and opportunity. Congressman Gephardt retired from Congress in January 2005 after serving Missouri's Third Congressional District for 28 years. In his first year in Congress, he was appointed to the House Ways and Means and Budget Committees and launched a career spanning three decades as a national leader on healthcare, trade and tax policy. As a leader in Congress, he emerged as one of the chief strategists and spokespersons on major issues facing the nation, and worked tirelessly to promote economic and personal security.

"Aravo has become a driving force in supplier information management and risk mitigation," said Congressman Gephardt. "With each new headline on toxic toys or contaminated food coming out of China and other emerging markets, CEOs and boards around the globe are better understanding the risks associated with global supply chains. Aravo brings a timely and powerful solution to bear to help manage and reduce those risks. I look forward to working with CEO Tim Albinson and his talented executive team."

In addition to Congressman Gephardt joining Aravo's Board of Directors, Gephardt Group and Aravo have entered into a partnership focused on strategic marketing and business development.

Aravo has recently closed $10 million in Series C financing and raised $22 million to date. The firm's investors include senior executives from financial services and technology companies such as Charles Schwab family/Big Sky Partners, Goldman Sachs, PeopleSoft and numerous presidents and CEOs of private equity firms, hedge funds and investment banks.
