Former Ernst & Young Managing Partner Donn Szaro Joins ACM Capital Partners Advisory Board

A Veteran of E&Y's Global Health Sciences Practice, Szaro Cites ACM's Turnaround Track Record as Primary Driver Behind His Decision to Join

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - April 9, 2009) - ACM Capital Partners, a national investment and advisory firm specializing in assisting middle market companies in transition or distress, today announced that former Ernst & Young, LLP Managing Partner Donn Szaro has joined the ACM Advisory Board. Szaro, a licensed CPA for more than 30 years, provided audit, tax and consulting services focusing on health, biotech and pharmaceutical clients. Currently an active investor in early stage disruptive innovation, Szaro attributes his decision to join the ACM Advisory Board to the company's track record of successfully turning around financially-distressed organizations.

"I've known Jim Martin for many years, and believe his vision, leadership and track record to substantially improve the financial condition of distressed middle market companies throughout the United States, and right here in South Florida," Szaro said.

ACM Founder and Managing Partner James F. Martin welcomed Szaro to the ACM Advisory Board, and said the board would continue to attract leading voices in the management, turnaround and investment advisory worlds.

"Donn has built a sterling reputation through a very successful career at Ernst & Young," Martin said. "With the addition of Donn to the Advisory Board, we will continue to attract the best and brightest. His experience and leadership will help to advance the ACM mission of aligning stakeholder interests to maximize the value of companies in transition."

Szaro's storied career at E&Y is highlighted by his twice building a billion-dollar-plus annual practice, initially leading the U.S. health care practice from $210 million in 1995 to a billion-dollar threshold in 2000. After the firm sold its consulting division in May 2000, Szaro led the global health sciences practice from $350 million annual revenues to $1 billion in fiscal 2005.

A third-generation Floridian, Szaro earned a bachelors degree in Accounting from Florida State University, where he attended on a football scholarship. Szaro continued his education through advanced executive studies at Yale, Northwestern, Duke, and Harvard universities. He also served as Associate Faculty Member in the Department of Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins University.
